I'm looking for other students future nurses to talk to and go through all the rings with

Congrats to all! :)

I just found out today that I was accepted to the spring 2014 at St Philip's College. I am so excited!

I start TCAT @ Memphis January 2, 2014. I would love to hear how the program is so far and connect with you as well. What advice do you have to offer about the program and what teachers are the best and worst?

Hi! The program is extremely fast paced. Read ahead as much as possible. Learn each teacher's style and adjust. Follow the rules, which are always subject to change. Be flexible. Keep your grades to yourself. Keep a positive and respectful attitude. Always remember why you are there and govern yourself accordingly. We started in Sept. with 35 accepted. 31 or 32 showed up on day 1. We are now at 23. See you January 2!

I start January 6, 2014 @ BHSLR in the LPN program.

January 6, 2014 @ Oakland Riverview Institute

Hey KelsNursing, level one acceptance isn't hard you need two reference letters 1 personal, and one professional. Transcript with I believe 25 or more credit hours of you don't have that you can use your act scores of 17 or above. Fill out the application and a resume. If you don't have the pre reqs you can still be accepted on a level one level you just have to take them. It is required you take math and pharm there. When you pass that along with your other pre req you will have a nursing interview and get a level two acceptance. Then you will be required to take jumpstart to fundamentals. You have to pass that in order to move on to fundamentals which is your first core nursing class.

Have you gotten all of your supplies yet (scrubs, stethoscope, books etc.). How are you coming along with the abbreviations?
