I got my books after the welcome day. Found them online for way less than what's on the book list.

Where did you order them from? Have you completed all prereqs?

Can't send you a private message, haven't posted enough yet. I got my books from valorebooks and abebooks. I got my scrubs from cititrends for ten dollars a set. I have completed all prereqs so I'm just waiting for them to tell me if I get to leave early or come to class late.

Lucky you! I will have to checkout cititrends. My email is [email protected]

Ok. Emailed you.

I'm in San Antonio, starting the LVN program (12 months) at Galen on Jan 6! :)

Hi

I applied to this program and I'm hoping to start September 2014. I was wondering how soon after the application deadline did you get your interview? I'm waiting for the call from Ms. Looney now. Do they interview everyone or just the ones who are accepted? About how many were accepted in your class? I know I'm asking lots of questions but I'm so nervous and excited.

I appreciate your advice...well put! I am starting LVN in a different state but I know how important it is to adjust to different teaching styles and personalities because clinicals will be even more challenging, working with different staff and patients.
