Hello all...I've searched through and found that some of you have or are currently in the RODP program for FNP through Tennessee...can anyone update me on this? Do you like it? Would you recommend it/do it again? Im hoping to get my home school of MTSU...also for those of you that know..do you have to have some classes such as adv pharm and assessment done first? I can't get definitive answers through the website..Thanks so much!
Cochise, I am also starting the RODP through APSU this January. I have been searching this board to find advice on the courses and others who'll be starting at the same time. I am taking Research and Theory this upcoming semester and I've considered adding adv pharm. I don't want to stretch myself too thin but I also would like to finish in a couple years or so. Anyway, nice to "meet" you. Good Luck.
What do you think about TSU? I live in Chattanooga so I can select which home school I want. MTSU has decided to not allow any clinicals to be done outside of TN so I chose TSU instead. I am now wondering if I should stick with them or look at ETSU or APSU. What has been your experience?
rgbrn- How are your classes going? I just found this thread when I 'googled' ETSU NP reviews and am glad I found the thread. I have applied to three NP programs and will decide once I hear if I've been accepted on one. I graduated with my BSN from King, ADN from MECC, and have applied to ETSU's online FNP, King's hybrid FNP program, and ODU's online PNP programs. Are you happy you chose the RODP?? Would love to connect with others in the program to hear the pros and cons!!
Don't go to this school RODP or TN of whatever name they change to in the future. I made to FNP clinical and had to start over at Walden University. They make it very hard for no reason. A "B" starts at 85. Anything below 85 including 84.99 you must repeat. My clinical instructors never notified me that they were unable to reach my receptor. That school is a Hot mess!
Hello! Does anyone have any recent experience with MTSU? I'm looking to get a feel for the testing process, clinical acceptance, and general feel for the online FNP. They have recently switch over to a stand-alone program and are no longer with the rodp / Tennessee eCampus program. Anybody has any insight it is much appreciated.
