Has anyone applied to SUNY RCC for nursing Fall 2022? I submitted all my forms for enrollment/nursing (I'll be transferring to this school) and even went to a Nursing Info Session at the school to find out more about the program. Seems to be a very competitive program to get into. I'm hoping my TEAS score is enough to get in since that is the only criteria.

I applied last week for the Fall 2022 Nursing program (fingers crossed). Anxiously waiting to hear back. I'm assuming a week or two after the 4/15 deadline they will start letting people know?

Hi, I got a 79.3%. I was hoping for at least 85%-90% but the English and Language Usage and Reading were my lowest scores. How about you?

When I went to the nursing info session they said it would take about 3-4 weeks to hear back (early May till May 15th would be the earliest we find out). I hope we all get in!
I did the info session on a zoom call. they never mentioned when we would hear back in regard to admission. Good to know the time frame so I don't obsessively check LOL
I got an 84%. Hoping its good enough! I guess it really all depends on the grades of our cohort since they fill the seats from the top score down. Good luck! hopefully we will be starting together in September. I applied for parttime (2 nursing classes) day clinicals

84 is a good grade. It's considered a advance score and according to a lady a spoke to from the nursing department ,they barely get advanced grades. So you have a good chance of getting in.
Yes so I went in person and they explained everything about the whole process. Usually fall admission is a lot more challenging to get into due to many more students applying and scoring pretty high on the TEAS, and for Spring admission the scores they accept tend to be a bit lower because less students apply and students don't score as high. They were telling us that we should aim to score in advanced and exemplary range. And wow, 84% is really good-hopefully they accept me this time around. If not then I'll study harder for the TEAS retake and reapply for Spring 2023.
They also told me the seats could be anywhere between 75-100 people admitted, depending on how many previous students need to repeat nursing courses. Let's hope they accept more this semester.

Oh wow that is a really good score. Math was my highest score, and then I retook the TEAS and did worse so I went with this score.

Interesting! on our call they said up to 150 (which I thought was a lot) 75-100 makes sense. I really hope! I got accepted to my second choice and have to pay to hold my seat as I wait to hear back from RCC.

Yes 150 is a lot. Hopefully you don't have to wait too long to hear back from RCC then! Is the other school you applied to also an ADN program? Also if you get accepted by RCC, are you planning on taking the non-nursing courses in the Summer/not during nursing semesters? I'm considering taking them this Summer if I can so that I can focus on my nursing classes.
