Rockford???

Anyone from Rockford? Which nursing program did you attend, RVC or St Anthony's? Also, what was your pre-req grades and/or gpa? Thanks for any info you could provide.

consider applying to kishwaukee college of nursing

alot of my classmates are from rockford

it is a small school, located in malta illinois about 10mins away from NIU

I go to RVC. I went in with a 4.0 in the pre-reqs and about a 3.8 in general. The #1 thing they look at is your grades in A&P and Micro.

Good luck!

Cheyita,

What year are you in? How many are in your class? Do you know if any of your classmates got in with a B in A & P which is what I have. I am taking micro this summer. Before A&P, I had a 4.0. I'm really concerned about getting into the ADN program. I will apply this fall with the hope of starting in Jan 09. Thanks and congrats on getting in!

nads786,

Thanks for the info - I just hate to drive that far with gas prices. I live just down the road from RVC so that is my top choice.

I'm know some of my classmates had one A and one B in the two, but I'm not sure if any had two Bs.

Going into my last semester! They admitted 31 when our class started - they previously only admitted 24 but increased the class size with us. I'm not positive, but I think all future classes were also the larger size.
