I'll be graduating in May 2003 from an ADN program, and I just received RNotes: Nurse's Clinical Pocket Guide from Amazon. I wish I had had it for clinical's from the beginning. It's pretty small (about 3x5.5 inches) and contains a lot of reference information covering many aspects of nursing, (too much to list). It also has assessment forms and schedule planners that you can write on-- the pages are plastic coated so you can wash them off. For anyone interested, the ISBN is 0-8036-1060-2.

Yeah, it took forever to get it through Amazon. You might try getting it directly from the publisher, F. A. Davis at http://www.fadavis.com (might be cheaper,too)

Hi Angelica,

I have this book. I bought it at a Books a million bookstore. I too wish I had come across this during 1st semester. It is awesome. I just graduated in Dec 2002 and I plan on having this in my pocket when I start working as a RN.

I would highly reccomend this book to all student nurses. I swear I think you could study this book instead of those thick and expensive nursing books and learn everything you need to know.

(well almost!!)

Barnes and Nobles probably carries this book too.

i too just got this book. haven't had a chance to use it yet though. i'll be going to ED after graduation and they also have an emergency nursing notes version that i've seen some of the other nurses use.

wow this forum was a WHILE AGO! they have now come out with a new 2009 version of RNotes, the cost is 25.95 of the F.A davis site. On amazon (preorder) for 23.35. Really worth it??
