Good evening all! I have an interview next week for a RN transplant coordinator position at a very well known hospital in my state.
What exactly do they do?? I had wished and wished that I could find a job in nursing where I could really use my talents to make a difference and help others. I THINK a transplant coordinator does this. Can anyone shed some light here?? This is an executive job, right? Curious... and thank you ahead of time!!
I guess maybe she meant more administrative than actual patient care?
The Transplant coordinators Ive encountered have been very involved with the patients. Mostly handling the logistics of what was happening and coordinating times and staff. Also invloved with the familes and keeping them up to date. But not behind a desk. Theyre always moving.
Congrats on the job!

I just did not know if I would be working more in an office at a desk OR if I would be working the floor as a working RN, if that makes sense??
Thanks!
