Hi
Does anyone have any experience with RN telephonic case management with insurance companies? I have been doing patient care for about 10 years now and while not a very long time I'm tired of it. I was just trying to gain some insight as I don't want to jump from frying pan into the fire if you catch my drift. Thank you all
ps this is a work from home opportunity

It's an interesting job with good pay and benefits. It can be stressful but what job isn't?

I am currently applying for this type of position however I have a question regarding the rules of "where you work". In example, my home is in Atlanta but I travel back and forth between Atlanta and Dayton, OH (personal reasons). Would I be able to work when I have to be in Dayton or am can I only work out of Atlanta?
I think you need to have an "office" set up in your home, and by that I mean an area free from home traffic , noise, distractions. These companies reserve the right to check your home because you are dealing with protected patient information. So to answer your question, while you are working remotely, I'm unsure of how it would work with your travel back and forth to Ohio, as they are under the assumption you're in Atlanta. I wonder if you speak with them, if they would be willing to do a duel set up? I would just be up front. Good luck

As far as two offices- you MIGHT need to be licensed in both states as well. I teach online and am required to have more than one license.
