RN Refresher course NY/NJ

Hello. I am a new RN in the state of NY but I live here in NJ. I was educated in the Philippines and graduated nursing school in 2008. When I came here I did not take my nclex exam because at that time I was eager to work right away and I was contented of my salary working as a Home Health Aide and CNA in an assisted living facility.

Now, that I already pass my nclex RN, I tried applying for hospital jobs but since I was not able to work in a clinical setting for over 4 years they wanted me to get a RN refresher course before they would hire me.

Can someone help me where can I enroll such course in NY preferably in NJ?

I think you should just apply for new grad position, apply to nursing home for a new grad nurse position to get some experience before applying to hospitals. I don't think you need a refresher course after you already passed the nclex. You can volunteer and shadow some nurses too
