RN pay in Port Charlotte/ SW Florida??

Can anyone help me on what the average hourly rate for an experienced ER and/or Occ Health RN?

I have more than 10 years experience and will be applying to positions in the next year or so. When I go online there's quite the range. (18-30/hr), but when I reference Boston (in glassdoor, etc.), where I work now, it's not that accurate.

I know it's going to be a pay cut and I am not worried about that, I'm just trying to figure out how much to expect. I am also not worried about switching specialties, if needed. Any information anyone can give is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

God I hope that's not accurate. I'm moving from California to SW Florida in a couple of months. I know I won't make anywhere near the same money as I do out here, but I was hoping to make closer to $40/hr.  I'll be keeping my job out here in the meantime.

Hello to both,

My mom is looking into areas to move to in SW Florida so I'll be moving with her. Have you guys ended up in Florida and what is the wage like right now? I'm trying to stay out of hospital and work in a clinic or something since I'm in NP school right now. Are the nurse patient ratios reasonable? I'm currently making $30 with ratio of 5:1 sometimes 6:1. Any news would be helpful. Thanks!
