RN PAY dialysis

Published

Hey I am looking for some info. I know pay is supposed to be secret for some reason but, am wondering what dialysis RN's are making in the Charlotte NC area. I am from Detroit MI area and I am thinking about relocating to warmer weather and I'm trying to see how much house I can afford if I move. I was told its much less in that area than here in MI I correctly make 40.25 per hour. I've been a RN for 9 years and have an ADN. Thanks for any info

Wow! I’ve only been an RN for 2 years and have not made less than 34.50/hr in any job I have, full-time, part-time or per diem (I have more than one; the one per diem pays 37.50/hr); and, this is working in Psych/Mental Health/Behavioral Health and Detox/Rehab fields in southern NJ. However, I am interested in dialysis and learning something new, so I recently applied to a dialysis RN position and interview on Monday. Unfortunately, I just can’t afford to take less than 34/hr (mortgage and household expenses require nothing less).

To the OP, NC may pay less but the cost of living down there is also less.
