Dialysis - Hate it

I went in got certified is not what I expected My trainer was very good however once I became on my own I realized I started to hate it it is a constant run around I feel like I'm always in erased during turnover it gives me anxiety and panic attacks every time something goes wrong with the machine I just can't relax tomorrow will officially be my last day I am not even going to give a two weeks notice because I just can't take it anymore I've been in health care for over 15 years and I'm going to go back to what I know for now as a medication aide so much easier and less stress I gave dialysis a try and now I appreciate all of my other certifications that I have underneath my belt providing this information with my husband he does not agree with me and just want me to continue to stick it out but I told him I'm not going to do it anymore He's not in health care so he does not understand the way I feel

I've worked in dialysis for over 12 years. I understand how overwhelming it can feel in the beginning. It's all new, and you need to give yourself a little time to adjust. But if, after giving it an honest shot, you feel like it's absolutely not for you—do what you must. Good luck!
