Hi, I'm wanting to get back into school and finish now that my daughter is 2yrs old. I need ANY advice about what's the fastest ways becoming an RN to NP.. I have college work but no nursing credits yet.. I'm looking for all and any accelerated programs available out there. I also live in chicago IL if that helps. Thanks so much!

RN to NP would be my bet. I live in IL also though central IL. Get your pre-reqs out of the way at a community college, get your BSN, work for a hospital that offers tuition reimbursement and get your NP.

Best wishes.

I would do RN first unless you absolutely need the quickest way to get in the nursing field and work ASAP. If you know you want to become an NP, then I feel like becoming an LPN first is going to delay your goals. I would go straight for my BSN and work and be sure that I really wanted to go to NP school, then apply.
