I will be starting the University of Phoenix MSN bridge program once I graduate from the ADN. I have a B.S. too, in another field. We have a campus here, so I will probably do a hybrid degree to work around my schedule when I become an RN. I can say that most of the Nursing Educators and my DON have a MSN from UoP. I am also prior military and a lot of the nurses on base and at the VA have a portion of their degree from UoP. These graduates do well in my area.
More on the program: You have to do 3 BSN classes before you can start the MSN, this is the bridge portion. They also have a lot of degree options. Since my previous degree is in management I will most likely take the MSN/Healthcare Admin Route. The professors at my school took the MSN/Education route. My director has her MSN from there and is currently working on her PhD from there.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi. I am graduating in December from an ADN program. I have an old Bachelors degree in Science. I am just seeking advice on Bridge Programs RN to MSN (pros and cons) and direct MSN programs. I plan on bedside nursing for a while, but I just want to be able to set myself up for the future, any advice?
