Hi 4jen,
I'm also in the same boat. I've just submitted my application to USF's RN-MSN (CNL concentration). They have a cohort starting this fall at their San Ramon campus. After, I complete the program, I hope to get post-master's NP certification before the 2015 deadline. There is talk about requiring entry-level NPs to possess a doctoral degree to practice starting 2015. It's not set in stone. Which schools are you looking at?

This is a helpful link for this topic, depending on if you have selected schools to apply to yet. It is not a complete list, cause it's from '08, so other programs are now offered as well. Still useful.

I am applying to Frontier Nursing University (Formerly Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing) for my ADN-MSN Bridge. I am excited!! Just a few short months and I should be on my way! It's all online, except you are required to attend Frontier Bound, Crossing the Bridge and Clinical Bound out in Kentucky! No GRE requirement if your GPA is greater than 3.2! Family Nurse Practitioner here I come!!!!

Robin,
Where did you obtain your ASN? I, like you, am in Texas and interested in the ADN-MSN(NP) program at Frontier. I've scoured their website looking for the pre-req's to the program. Do you know where I could find them?!?
