Hi guys,
I'm a nursing newbie, wanting to know about wages in BC.
I've looked thru BCNU's wage grid, but no clue what all those level one and two's mean.
Does level one mean bedside care nurses like LPN?
Please provide me with definitions of entry level RN or
level one, LTC case manager, two, three, and four.
If possible, please provide me with an appropriate website for viewing salaries for RN's and LPN's.
Thanks in advance!

LPNs bargain under BCGEU. Look at some of the health authority job postings for an LPN, you will see the wage scale there.
Check the stickies at the top of this forum.
Case Managers are usually experienced nurses.

Hi...
I relocated to Vancouver from Winnipeg as a new RN...
I believe the entry level wage per hour when I first started working in December, 2007 was $27.17 and recently increased to $27.85 or something close to that.
Hope that helps!
