Hi, SO I received my stipulated agreement fro the AG's office. I am reluctant to agree to all of the terms. Can anyone offer any advice that has gone through this process with the 18 terms of the stipulation? Also, during this time, is your RN license restricted in any way? Thank you in advance.

Seriously, what other option do you have?
Nursing jobs are scarce these days. Those with unencumbered licenses will most definitely have it easier in applying for positions.

I'm sorry, I don't have advice specifically related to your area of inquiry. However, I would like to suggest that you change your username to something more anonymous (presumably, it is currently your name) if you continue to discuss your legal and/or licensing issues on a public internet forum. Best wishes to you.

Do what they ask you to do. And also try AA. It helps a lot of people!! Seriously? You are a nurse. Act like one. Get help.
@Kimbalou- not everyone who makes a mistake is an addict. This was 6 years ago. Please educate yourself before making accusations.
@roser13- the other option would be to take it to court and try to get the stipulation decreased.
I was simply asking, has anyone gone through the process and had success? Also, once you agreed to the stipulation, was your license restricted or not. That is all. Thank you in advance for your responses.
6 years ago?? Don't most RN's have to renew their license every 2 years? Just my opinion of course...but 1 DUI for anyone is one too many. Why don't you want to do what they are asking of you?
And to answer your question...no, I have never been in this situation. I just always wonder why people who get in trouble with the law sometimes refuse to do what they need to do to make the situation better. If you care about your license enough, you will do what you need to do.
