If anyone is willing to move, the Memphis VA is having a job fair 10-23-10. They are looking to hire RNs ONLY in many different specialty areas. In the advertizing, there is no mention of experience needed. There is more information on their website if you're interested.

Hi. I am an Internationally-educated nurse. I have a BSN degree and I am also a Registered Nurse from the Philippines. However, I am a only a Registered Practical Nurse here in TORONTO, CANADA. Because Canada have made their own degree in nursing, which is BScN, I am trying to find a way to get my RN license in California. By the way, I already passed the US-NCLEX RN last 2008. I hope you can help me in any way to get my RN license. Would you be able to know if there is a hospital anywhere in US which employs international nurses? Thanks and God bless! :)

Even if you find a employer for the US if you are not a Canadian citizen then you are still looking at several years wait for a immigrant visa due to retrogression
