RN (Intellectual disability)seeking work in Canada

Hi all,

I am an irish registered nurse Intellectual disability, moving to Canada this year. I am having difficulty finding any other RNID that have made the move. I have contacted nursing bodies in BC and they seem to recognise the RN but in a general basis, and i am not a RNG. Or could i work in education? im lost!

Thank you justbeachynurse, yes it's seems like the dream is over of going to USA unfortunately. I'm so disappointed. Seems impossible to find companies to sponsor you.

It's not impossible but it is very difficult to find a company willing to go through the expense of sponsoring an overseas worker when the unemployment rate in some states is 20-40%. You need to find a specialized niche
