RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

My life is on Hold as well. My fiance got this great job in orlando and he is putting it on hold to know if i will get accepted or not to know what to do.. So many ppls life are on hold thats what they fail to realize. they need to start getting their ISH 2gether - it makes all of the advisement department look so UNPROFESSIONAL. They all NEED TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE... Confusing the Ish out of us with their inconsistency ...im beyong irritated. Its like whatever at this point -_- ..

The academic calendar is up for fall 2014-2015. Classes start August 25. Registration begins June 18. I remember reading somewhere they send out acceptance letters around the time of registration for fall. So I believe we might get our letters next week or the following week after that. :-). But its all up to their discretion. fingers crossed ladies.

yayyy well at least thats a progress :-)

Well finally something

hey everyone.

So I just graduated from MDC's generic program last month & just here checking to see when my bf should be expecting his letter.

HEADS UP. the frustration doesn't end here. Be prepared for issues when registering for other semesters (you register for your first semester @ orientation), last minute clinical site changes. etc. Nothing too bad, but unneeded stress during a STRESSFUL PROGRAM.

Good luck!!

Nurse-bee if it's not too much trouble, what was your schedule like the first semester?

Talked to pthe advisor again, now she said that she thinks email are going out next week, but nothing is for sure, they still with paper work

Yes, looks like next week or the next will be it!

no problem. I was in Full-Time Generic.

first semester was Monday-Thursday for me; fridays off.

Clinicals is only 1 day (7-3), a fundies lecture once a week, adult health assesment lecture, fundies skills lab, & Pharmacology math class (which is once a week, but doesnt last the whole semester).

It seems like a lot of classes, but the first semester will be the easiest :)

Thank you for the info! If u don't mind saying what was ur score in the teas and gpa?

Did u get ur letter like the other ones on June 13? Or u had to wait for the 2nd round of emails ?
