RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

WOW! I had no idea a thread like this existed. I have literally just spent the last 2 hours reading all of the craziness that has been going on these last couple months. it is amazing to see that there are people out there feeling just like me and you were all going through the same things i was feeling! i am so happy for all of you and your passing scores. I also got a passing score and I've been living in fear and nerves everyday since i took the test (even though i thought after the test id feel better, yeah right!) i check my email twice daily or every chance i get. I'm obsessed and i thought i was going crazy! great to see I'm not alone! i Hope we all get in!!!!!! i will be checking this thread more often to help soothe my mind. We have all come a long way and we should be proud of ourselves! i don't even know you all and i can truly say I'm proud and congrats to you all. thanks for all these post that have kept me alive the past couple of hours and that will hopefully keep my sane these next couple of weeks!

ohh and how could i forget SEE YOU GUYS AT THE BEY CONCERT!!!!

Hi everyone! I have been following this blog for many days now. After reading the comments posted, I would like to wish you all the very best of luck in the next couple of weeks. I hope you all get accepted, and that you become successful nurses that make a real difference in the lives of others. I can feel how passionate you all are, and I hope you will always let that passion be a positive force in your life regardless of what happens.

I will be in the same boat come September. I just finished all of my pre-req's, and I am taking the entire Summer off to study for the NLN. I am a bit overwhelmed to be honest. I find myself feeling as though I am all over the place without any organization in my studying. Tomorrow I am going to sit down and devise a plan. Hopefully, I will get myself back on track.

Any suggestions as to how you all studied for this are welcome :-)

That was a very nice post and hope you get in as well. Actually I called the school today just to ask the obvious lol when they will be sending the letter bla bla and she said that a lot of people applied this time, more than any other semester so it's gonna be very competitive. I got even more nervous after that call but nothing else we can do. Welcome to the club Nicole :) and good luck !!!

Welcome! !! Even tho we helped each other a lot at the end it doesn't really matter cuz it's a horrible exam and I don't mean to scare you but I tell u one thing that I didn't listen. Leave the vocabulary for the end cuz you will need all the time u can get for the reading. My last 3 passages I didn't have time to read and ended up having to answer w.e. math isn't that bad and I suck at math so you should be fine. Science hard to say cuz I saw a lot of things that wasn't in the book. A lot of physics and this was actually the only section I didn't run out of time. Good luck and if anything don't hesitate in asking us questions!

welcome to the club and hope you make it as well. Its a nerve racking situation. Some people say not many apply and others says this is the msot application they have seen . When i spoke to the advisor the day i applied i was told alot of people didnt do well in the exam which drop the percentage of applicants compared to previous semesters. Anyways all we can do is pray and hope for the best.

BTW IM BACK FROM VACATION - :(.. IM AT WORK SOOOOO TIRED :sleep:. Cant wait to be off at 3 ....

missed you guys ;-).. BACK TO REGULAR ROUTINE LOL

Don't call wait until the letter arrived because they tell a different thing to everybody and that 's just make you more anxious...
