RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Thanks BrittneyB. Finally was able to log in :headphone: Wow! Just looked at my school email and found the same information. They sent it out late

Thank you Brittney!! ???

I hope it didn't count against us because I didn't do so hott!

When asked about it, Mrs. Brown (I believe) was noncommittal regarding the use and importance of our results on the test. She said that the test was to gauge our level of preparedness to begin the program.

Generic full time students were told if you didn't do well on the test that "you're not going to be kicked out of the program." I hope I did well but I'm not losing any sleep over it.

I wouldn't worry about it, if I were you. I didn't eat that morning, barely slept the night before taking it & finished the test really quickly.

I hope so. I am kind of bummed about the score but hopefully it doesn't count against us! I rushed through it so that's what I get I guess!

I got the same score as in the nln, sooo no very good

You got the same score or the same percentage? Why not very good?

117 and 73%

What are the odds that you would get the exact same score? That's not a bad score. People who didn't meet the minimum 106 &/or 50% requirements were accepted into the program. You got 11 points over the requirement. That's good, don't be hard on yourself!

Besides, we're all starting from scratch now, whether we scored 100 or a 170. A Tabula rasa for each of us to make what we will of it.

Are there ny assignments from the book for the sos boot camp? Are we just supposed to do the tutorials and the exam after each?
