I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.
I went to the MDC clinic and there was soo many students from all programs. I suggest those who haven't done their physicals to go to the one on 3rd street, there is no waiting the girl is pretty cool and does the 1st PPD in 2 min, and does your drug test right there and tells you the result. For the 2nd PPD results she fills the physical, and gives you the drug results. I was literally in and out. No waiting!!!!... No need to have the Flu vaccine as we are not in the season yet....
Registration is done during your orientation, and they provide with a sheet with ref #'s and all that. I did LPN there, so its self explanatory. I wouldn't suggest to buy any books yet, until you know exactly what your professor will use. I literally bought a Pharm book, that we never used, and i hope I can use it for the Bridge option. For the math i rented the book, and thank god because we only learned the basics and didn't need it after that math class, which was only a few days.

oh thanks, i'll do that then!
Thanks cdeta002 and grace&hope. I just came from the medical campus, met with the advisor. Just like u said no longer a requirement. So I was able top fill my application. Now I have got a long way to wait. It's good forum, good luck in your nursing field. And one piece of advice, start studying right now, even if u do a chapter a day till Aug.
