RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Yes it's by zip code but you have to hand in your application to the medical campus and they sort them by zip code from there (:

Thanks Brittneyb! I am glad everything worked out the way you wanted it to (Nova and MDC). I wish you all of the best in your future career!

I just signed up for a CPR class at North Campus 6/21 because I wasn't able to take the one i signed up for today.

Aw thank you so much! You as well!

Hi girls!!! Congrats everyone I hope to meet you guys on/before orientation!!!!

1. Admission paid

2. CPR scheduled for the 21st

3. Boot camp for August

4. Background scheduled for Monday the 16th

5. Physical exam and titers ready - waiting for lab results

What else am I missing?

Tell us if you actually need the book during the CPR class please

I bought the book and I took the class, but you don't need the book. If I would have known I wouldn't have bought it. The class is easy. The instructors were nice.

Hey keila where did you do your physical exam and titers?

Hey guys, I wanted to mention to you that it might be a good idea, once you know which texts are required, to look on craigslist. I always buy my books from sellers on that site and many times I was even able to bargain a bit :). Additionally, I don't know if any of you like to follow blogs, but if so, there is one I found that was started by an MDC Nursing student back in 2013, and it may give you all some tips. Hope this helps! Nurse Newb | I'm a nursing student — I don't have time to be witty anymore so feel free to suggest a more clever tagline.

I'm doing it June 21 at North Campus. It seems like we're all going to meet there before the orientation lol.
