RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Lisandra2411,

I'm not sure of the date(s) for the verbal boot camp. It may or may not be ongoing, at this point.

cdeta002,

The Pre-Nursing SOS Boot Camp is mandatory for Nursing Program students. One's NLN result(s) are unrelated to this boot camp. Read number seven at the link below:

I got inn!!! Generic ft! Yayy for us guys! I have been super excited all afternoon. I was also accepted to accelerated, so a seat will be clearing up. I can't wait to meet you all!! :D

Thanks I will search on this $225 is way to expensive

Physicals are only $35 at Miami Dade. What make the total of $225 so high is the immunizations which are $200 and it will be as much at any health care facility. Unless you are a minor.

BUT, if you guys find immunizations for cheaper, let me know! :)

I just registered for the SOS boot camp, the first option.

The $200 is for the Titers, which tests to check your immunization levels, it doesn't include vaccinations or booster shots. The College clinic DOES NOT provide vaccinations or booster shots.

Does anyone know if we have to do the background screening at mdc medical campus or can we choose other locations?

Congrats to all of you who got accepted!!! I can imagine the relief you all feel right now. I still have not received an email...keeping my head up. If you need any vaccinations, I know that the health department gives them gives out for free.

You can choose another location. When you sign up there are multiple locations to choose from. The College location is actually the most limited meaning that it offers the least available times and dates to choose from.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant...sorry and thanks for clearing that up. Heres the link

Did anyone register for the CPR class yet?

Yeah I did. It's $79. I'm taking it at the Kendall campus on June 28th.
