RN generic full Time fall 2014- Miami dade college

Published

I'm applying for the Generic Full Time RN program for fall 2014 (August). I took my NLN Pax exam already and got an overall score of 143. Curious if this will be goof enough to get in? Can't find any stats since the previous test was the TEAS... Looking forward to hearing back from anyone else that has taken the test already. Thx.

Yes lets all stay positive. When the people with a higher GPA than me doubt themselves, it makes me feel bad about my chances. Let's cheer up. We're all getting in. All of us are thinking we're not going to get in and in that case MDC will not have a program this year lol. So we will get in!!!! :)

Yes coco positive thinking!!! I will never lose hope!

so is tomorrow then... one more day of agony :banghead:

Gpa doesn't really mean anything cuz I have a 4.0 gpa but a low nln score therefore when u do the math I have the least chances here if getting in. Don't worry about gpa

Positive thinking ladies we will all get in!!

Be positive, and believe it or not in this case the GPA is what they will be looking into. 4.0 is more them average. I my self have a 3.1, but I applied for the bridge, so I hope is not too competitive.

Gpa does matter , he has a high score and that doesn't affect him... but for sure it does have a weight

I have low score too and my gpa is lower that you if there a spot and they have to chose between us .they will pick you because you have a higer gpa... there is the big deal of having a perfect gpa.

C'mom girl dont put yourself down you will get the acceptance E-mail tomorrow

It seems like not alot of people applied to the bridge program so lower scores probably have a greater chance of getting accepted into that progam. I applied for generic full time and part time. What options did other people apply for?

Idk at least is not what advisors say . According to them it's all about the 60% score and 40% gpa if u get ur score percentile by thay table and multiply by 60% then add the gpa u have a higher sore then I do therefore better chances of getting in. When u called they told me that so idk. I don't think they analyze student by student I think they go based on the computer that calculate all that for them and that's when I lost hope :(

I just spoke to Jessica who was my advisor and she helped me apply. She said that by this evening they would probably start notifying people and that by Friday people should know.

That is the most current info she has.
