So I am currently licensed as an RN in the state of CT and I'm trying to get my RN endorsement for the state of CA. I have my temporary CA license. The nursing pre-requisites are what's preventing me from getting my license.
I am missing an oral communication course. I have sent in a letter from the university dean of the department attesting that one of the courses on my transcript is an oral communication course. As of right now, I haven't heard anything on whether this letter was accepted or denied.
has anyone else had experience having to do this?
also, in the case that they don't accept that letter, I found an online course for oral communication. I just want to make sure that if I do this course, it would be accepted by the board. I have already graduated with my bachelor's in nursing so I wouldn't need to transfer the credits anywhere, I just don't want to complete the online course, receive the 3 credits then have California brn deny it.
Hi. I am trying to get my CA endorsement for my FL license. I was told that I could not get a temporary license since I was not educated in CA. Can you tell me what you did to get your temporary CA license?
Did you end up having to take an oral speech class after getting your temporary license? Despite having a communications degree on top of my BSN, Im worried this may happen when I try to endorse to CA
