prc license
2 yrs exp
attested cert(school credentials)
u must have these 3 things for u to qualify to take exam for MOH and DOH license.u cannot work as nurse without UAE license.

I would just like to ask what are the necessary requirements to be able to take the DOH exam. Is it like HAAD that you have to have at least a year of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing? How about the number of hours? I already saw from the previous posts the requirements for MOH, DOH and HAAD. It's just that I don't know if it's still updated and the requirements are still the same. yup. the requirements are the same as haad, but doh are not particular with the number of hours, you need atleast 1 year of experience...are you here in dubai???
I am not yet in Dubai, I'm still here in the Philippines. Actually I have more than a year of experience but not in a Med-Surg setting. I really don't want to risk going somewhere without the certainty of landing a job yet, adding to that is I haven't taken any exams yet. So I really want to make sure I'm licensed there first. I'm thinking of taking the MOH and DOH exams to expand my options. Taking HAAD may be not be too wise on my part since I don't have a year of Med-Surg, there's a possibility that I cannot complete the Dataflow without that. How about you? When will you take the exam?

it isn't necessary that you have experience particularly in med- surg area .. what is very important is that you have enough nursing experience for you qualify ...i already have the eligibility id number but dha office told me that it'l be activated after 5 days in the prometric data base/system... i really need to take the exam cause my visa will expire on 27 of december!!haha visa extension is quite expensive:):twocents:

Aljorn, are you sure the experience needed is only 1 year? I read in the website and in this forum that it's 2 years and the process won't proceed without 2 years of experience? Can you enlighten us with this? How many years of experience do you have?
On your problem, I suggest you email the DHA authorities regarding your problem so that you'll be able to proceed with your application faster. :)
I think it is best that we meet the minimum years of experience required which is stated in the website, so as to make sure that we won't be having problems regarding that.
Is it true that the DHA/DOH exam can already be taken here in the Philippines?
