RN-BSN What kind of classes at WGU or Chamberlain?

Published

I am trying to narrow down my choice for getting my RN-BSN. I have narrowed it down to Western Governors University and Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Have any of you gone to either of these two schools? Good experience? Bad experience?

What type of classes are they? I know UOP the classes involve primarily writting papers to prove that you know the information you've been reading.

I'd rather have a more traditional type of learning like reading, answering questions (homework), taking tests, etc...

Thanks I appreciate any information you can offer me

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Chamberlain is heavy on reading, research, and writing papers. I loved it! Great experience.

WGU uses a variety of teaching methods and gives an extensive explanation of their program on their website: Online University | Online Degree | Accredited Bachelor's and Master's Degrees
