RN to BSN at University of South Florida

Nurses General Nursing

Hi

I recently got my RN license, and I want to continue my education at USF for their BSN program online.

I have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 but nursing GPA of 3.5. I was a Health Science/Biology Major at USF, I was academically dismissed in 2012. I am currently awaiting for the USF to re-admit me as a student, hopefully I do get accepted.

My question is: does anyone know how difficult it is to get into USF RN-BSN online program. To be more explicit, I was wondering does anyone know of anyone who got into the program with an 2.8 overall GPA. I do want to apply soon, if I get into USF. I do meet their requirement (it does not say minimum requirement). I already emailed advisor, they said as long as I meet their requirement I am able to apply. I am going to apply with my low gpa, just curious if anyone with low OVERALL GPA got in. BTW, I have 250+ credits on my transcript.

USF does not care about the nursing GPA or preqs GPA for ASN/RN-BSN; I already asked.

Thank you in advance.

You can do it. Even if it means a proby period. Let bygones be bygones. Full steam ahead !!!
