Rn-bsn

Nursing Students General Students

I am in my second year in nursing school to receive my Associate's. I will graduate in May (2007)!!! I seriously can't wait. What is getting on my nerves is not being able to find any information on an RN-BSN program, preferably online, because I am not licensed yet! I think that is so stupid! I just want to get information so I can apply. Someone please point me in the right direction!

Thanks!!!

Not sure where you're looking that you're not able to find at least general info ... although application will be down the road a bit because many programs require at least a 1/2 year of work experience as an RN because the courses are designed with the experienced RN in mind.

I put a link to one program in my state below ... just for general info. Look at websites for schools you know are near you - many, many "traditional" colleges/universities have programs that are at least partly online now. Good luck to you! :)

Gayle. . .there are links to information to online nursing programs in the links at the top of every page on allnurses under "Nursing Education". If you are looking for a traditional RN to BSN program pull down the "Links" drop down box at the top right of every allnurses webpage and click on the "Boards of Nursing" link. Find your state and go to the website for your state board of nursing. Most state boards of nursing have a list of all the nursing schools in their state and many of them break them down to AA, BSN, AA to BSN, LPN to BSN programs as well. If you don't see the list or can't find it, call them on Monday. Their telephone number will be listed on their website.

Just google "RN to BSN online" and you'll get a bunch of links up.
