I have researched several online RN to BSN programs. Many if not all, give credit transfer for Probability and Statistics regardless of how long ago the course was taken. WGU seems to be the exception. The course had to be taken in the last 5 years. I appealed the decision on my transfer credits before I knew of their time line requirement. Anyone been in this situation and not have to repeat the course?

They'll probably make you take it again.
The good news is that statistics at WGU really isn't that hard. If it's a review, you can probably get through it quickly, without a lot of effort.

It only took me a few weeks to complete the statistics course, and my math abilities are undeniably horrible (a.k.a. remedial level).
WGU's version of statistics is watered-down: there are no calculations or number crunching involved. You do not need a grasp of algebra or calculus to pass.
The class deals purely with concepts and definitions that bestow enough knowledge upon you to decipher peer-reviewed journal articles and research pieces.

I agree with the others. WGU stats is NOT very hard - if you've already had it, I would not stress having to retake it. I did it in about a week and I had never had it before. I griped about having to retake sociology (I passed it 20 years ago with a CLEP exam) - and I felt silly later since I was able to do it over a weekend.
