RN-BSN 6-1-15 start

Published

Soo I guess it is now safe to say that I will be starting the RN-BSN program June 1st. I'm so excited to get started and already can't wait for it to be over :) Any advice or suggestions from former or current students about classes, time management, procrastination issues ( my worst), or other helpful insights they want to share so I can sail through these classes? Also any that is also starting in June please feel free to comment! Thanks!

Also starting June 1st. I have 37 credits to complete. Will definitely need a study budy.

I'm also starting the RN-BSN in June! Graduated in 2012 with my ADN and not super excited about going back to school. WGU seems like the best route though and Im glad I made the choice to go with them! Go us!!:writing:

@scarletknight here is my email [email protected] send me a msg plz! Congrats @nocnicurn! I'm so ready to get started :)

Im supposed to start june 1st as well, all my transcripts just got in so im waiting to see what classes I will need. Excited to start :)

Ok, I am set to start! Tuition paid, everything all squared away. I'm excited, but TERRIFIED! What is everyone doing to get ready?

I'm excited to get started. Basically the only thing I've done so far is order a new laptop charger since mine went missing last month, and try to get in some ot while spending ad much time with friends, family, and my kids since I will probably be super busy this summer

im getting a new charger for my laptop, and im thinking about getting apa perrla to help writing papers. It has been years since ive wrote a paper and heard it is great.

Yes... I would highly recommend perrla. It makes APA formatting and references a snap. :)

[h=1]Is anyone else taking humanities from WGU? If so, for tasks 1 and 2 are they the exact same thing? Analyzing an art from each time period so a total of 18 between the two tasks? That seems like alot for this class. Wish I would have clepped it![/h][TABLE=class: gsc-above-wrapper-area-container, width: 1058]

I'm just waiting on a call from my mentor to get me registered for my first class! Hopefully Friday or Monday I'll be all set!

I have a couple questions for you guys:

1. So, my start date is June 1st, but I haven't enrolled in classes yet? Monday is June 1st already. Is that normal? Anyone else in the same boat as me?

2. I see that the online proctoring is incompatible with Mac computers. All I have is a MacBook. Am I supposed to go out and buy a Windows computer? Or is there a way around this?

So excited to start. It seems overwhelming right now. I just want to be REGISTERED! Good luck everybody. :bookworm:

Hi there - I'm starting on June 1st as well. The difference between tasks 1 and 2 is that task 1 is a review of a piece of writing while task 2 asks us to consider music or sculpture. The requirements are very similar, it's just the piece of art that we're being asked to review.

I've been emailing with my mentor, and my understanding is that we're not able to be registered for classes until after the 1st. Your mentor should set up an appointment shortly thereafter to go over your course plan.
