Hello all,
I currently work as a nursing assistant in Orange County California. The Ca BRN has said they will be issuing me a probationary license sometime later this year since I already passed the NCLEX. My place of employment has highly encouraged me to begin an RN to BSN program as soon as possible after the RN board issues me a probationary license. This is were I have hit a HUGE road block. Please help.... Does anyone know of any, and I mean ANY school nationwide online program that will allow me to begin and finish an RN to BSN program while on probation with the CA BRN? Any help, advice or direction would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Whether you are on probation or not you still are an RN. I truly haven't heard that it makes a difference. Luckily, all the nurses on here are very knowledgable about many aspects of licensing issues; so you posted in the best place. I'm certain your gonna find it doesn't matter!!!good luck

I just looked up a few and ALL required an unrestricted license.
Wow! Well I guess we both learned something. I guess I can put my school plans in hold . Atleast I can get any pre- req completed! Thanks!

even with un restricted lis, stipulations complete, now five years
i was denied RN-BS N, because of past encumberances, not current unrestricted.....frustrating at least
best wishes
So are you saying that even after you completed probation, you were still denied RN to BSN? I'm so frustrated. What school was that? Is that normal? Will all schools deny me too then?
