Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated! :up:

Oops, what I meant to say was that I interviewed in February and got my letter in May. I was accepted to the LPN-RN fast track prgm.

Okay awesome! Congrats! I applied for the RN program and she said I should know something hopefully soon! I'm getting anxious

The RN program application date has been extended until June 30th. Probably hear something in July after the date passes.

I didn't know it was extended. Maybe they didn't get a lot of applications or enough to fill a class.

Most likely they didn't have enough people to fill the class. They had extended the due date when I had applied as well. But notifications went out about a month afterwards.

@DLC0526 - I just rec'd my Fundamentals book in the mail. Is it supposed to be 2 books and a cd or 1 book and a cd? I rec'd one book and a cd...wondering if they sent me the wrong book?

Mine was 2 volumes. One is for lecture, one for lab. And 3 disc videos. Did you get the packaged book set from Rittenhouse?

Nope...Amazon. It's looks like they've sent me the wrong set even though the ISBN# matches. One more book question(sorry) - did you all use the "my nurse lab" access w/ the Med-Surge book? I notice many of the used ones don't come with the access code on Amazon. I'm trying to save some precious dollars. lol

I haven't gotten to med surg yet.. But from what I've heard about used books they don't always have what's needed.
