Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated!

How do we get our books?! I'm confused on how that work! I went to the Flynn and o hara uniform store and got my uniform today!

You just go to the rittenhouse bookstore site and put in the access code to see the textbook list for our level and term. You can always copy and past the isbn number on amazon or somewhere else to try to find them cheaper. How do the uniforms look in person?

I'm searching right now have found a few books for half the discounted (Rittenhouse) price. :-)

Yeah I looked at amazon! I think I'll get them all used b/c the used one says there is no guarantee that they will come with access codes/CDs

Yeah, I'm just noticing that. With some of these prices I can imagine the supplementary materials would not be included. I may have to get the Nutrition book and the optional book used since a cd does not come with those books. I'm trying cut cost anywhere I can,lol.

Lol @ the uniform. I remember not being too crazy about them but can't remember what it looks like. Yeah, I guess I should wait to see if our instructors strongly suggest the optional book.

Well the 8th is almost here! I bought the dimensional analysis book today for about 55 bucks, I can't wait to order the other two so I can skim through the books.

I can't wait to get my books either but because of money I won't be able to order them till mid August I did go to the uniform storm today and purchased the uniform. I was able to take my shirt home

Yea I'll have to wait a couple of weeks for the rest of them for the same reason. I'm hoping to buy my uniform at orientation. What color is the top? Are the pants white?
