Riverside School of Health Careers RN program

Hello everyone!

I am looking for current, past, and even prospective students for Riverside's RN program. I will be applying for the September 2013 professional nursing program. For current or past students, what was your GPA and teas score? Also how was the program, instructors, clinicals? I did attend the last open house in December and I was hoping that a student or recent grad would be there to talk about their experience. I love how the instructors seem to be really supportive and the small campus also appealed to me. To other prospective students what start date are you applying to and do you have any other nursing/healthcare experience? Any advice or other information on the program is greatly appreciated! :up:

I am not sure when we can purchase our uniforms! I looked through the practical nursing students info and they were told to NOT purchase their uniforms until during or after their orientation. When I went on campus last Wednesday, Ms. W said that she didn't have a booklist for us yet, it is still a little early for that she said. Once we have a booklist available, we just go to the rittenhousebooks (might be misspelled) and that link is on the website, then put in the school id, choose RN level I and then the booklist will appear. It also tells you if a book is required or optional. All in all the website is very confusing and not really any new info for now. I think it will be updated soon (I hope).

I think we will handle classes at orientation. I don't think we choose what instructors we have because they have a limited number if instructors to begin with. That was the main reason why they got rid of the E/W RN program, just not enough instructors.

Ummm the one that I have is do they have an idea of when our uniform and booklist will be available on the school website?

If you have your CPR card already, you can take that with you today. If not you can take it once you turn in your health forms.

I just got home! Everything went pretty well. I didn't get to talk to Ms.W at all though
