Well, all over California there is typically 100s of applicants for one position. New grads and experienced nurses alike are applying for anything they are qualified for. Budget cuts to government falls over into the health care division too. I had applied to RCRMC a while back, they are slammed with applicants. They can be choosy and pick the nurses with the most experience. Additionally, just because their website lists all these positions, doesn't mean they are hiring for them.
I have never been there as an employee, but I have walked the hospital, it seems fairly new with updated equipment, the wages are definitely not that fantastic, but the benefits are good, unless the government makes cuts to them.
I would apply if you are interested and try to be aggressive. Just don't leave your job or make any plans until you have been hired.

Hello!
I was wondering if any nurses here work at Riverside County Regional Medical Center (RCRMC) or know of anyone who works there. I am interested in applying and would like your input of the hospital or nursing units. If anyone works on their peds units, I would like to know! Thanks so much for your help!!
