Is anyone going to the NXN 84 prepare for success in nursing school class tomorrow or the NRN 93 Calculations for health professionals on Friday? I will be there if you are and have applied for the Spring 2015 RN Program at RCC I would love to meet you. Let me know now back to studying I go. :coollook:

Hi Queen.. I too applied for Spring 2015. I also received the invite to test but I had already scheduled at one of the testing sites. What time are these classes you mentioned and do you know if there are still openings or is it on a walk-in basis? Congrats and good luck.

Hi SilleeA,

Yes there 8 spots left in the success for nursing and 4 spots left for the drug calculations class. I was told that the drug class is a must to help you pass the SON drug calculation test at 100%. I believe We will have to pass it at 100% in order to move on to the second semester. Thank you for the luck. So you have taken your Teas test already? Please post where you took your exam along with the information so that the students who did not get invited can have another testing site they can go to; hopefully its in the area. Loma Linda is one. Good luck to you as well. I hope To see in in one of those courses. :cat:

I'm still waiting on the invite for the teas test. I got a 4.0 in the sciences so I'm waiting here like ??

jowaybaybay, Call the school of nursing and tell them that one of your friends who also has a 4.0 in their sciences got an invite and you did not yet. Also, check the email you gave them.

RN2B951 That's so precious, your a new mommy, or you just had a new addition to your family? Well get your rest and enjoy the baby because nursing school will keep you away from that little bundle of joy. My boys are older, 13 and 17. I was just looking at their baby pictures earlier. Time goes by so fast, it's hard to believe my baby will be 18 next year. I missed out when they were young, when they were little I worked a lot as an LVN. I hope you have a good support system to help out while you're in nursing school. Enjoy! :cat:

He is my first and last!! lol Today he is one month old!!. I waited till I was 35 to have a baby. I do have a good support. My mom and aunt will be helping out. It is going to be a challenge studying with a newborn baby!!!!! I am sure I will have a lot of sleepless nights,

RB2B you are blessed to have your families help. I did not go to the success in nursing class yesterday. I wanted to spend that time to study for my TEAS and Intermediate algebra math course. I am still going to the drug calculation course. If the professor did not drop me I will go to it next week after I take my TEAS. I am a busy busy bee. Jaywaybaybay I am happy you got that taken care of. I too am ready for it to be over with the waiting. It's all in the process first waiting for the teas, then waiting for the acceptance letter, then waiting to start nursing school. Once we are in nursing school we will be waiting to finish nursing school, then the NCLEX, and so on and so on lol.
