OMG, I just got my Acceptance letter today. I have to get done in week what you guys had six weeks to do. I will see you guys on Tuesday and thanks for your prayers andd well wishes because it worked. I got in :nurse::cat::yes: .

Thank u Jesus! Congrats Wanda!!!!!!!!!!

Eeekkk!! Congrats Wanda!! I'm jumping up and down for you right now!! Lots to do but it will be worth it. Let me know if you need help with anything. I can't believe we start school next week. I just started on our reading assignments. I've been working lots of hours to save up money so I haven't had much time to do anything. I'm taking the rest of the week off so I can get some studying done. Are you guys taking your supply bag the first day? I know the email said we only need to bring our Taylor book the first day, it didn't say anything about our supply bags.

Actually it's the Lynn book:0)

Congrats!! Now to share the anxiety of school starting in a week hehe i'm so nervous! Has anyone thought about what kind of backpack to get? I'll only be taking the textbook they have asked us to take for the first day. I really doubt we'll need our supplies bag the first day.

Your probably right Vanessa, I think I'll do the same. I bought a Dakine backpack I had one that I used during my pre reqs and I really liked it. So I bought a new one that's bigger then the one I had. It looks like it will fit a lot of books. It even has a organizer section where you can put your cell one and stuff that you usually carry in your purse. They have different styles so the prices depend one which one you want. I got it on amazon. It was between Dakine and jansport for me.

Im thinking about getting a rolling backpack. My back cant handle all those books but i want to see what they will expect from us before getting one. I saw online one thats called zuca and they look pretty spacious and awesome for all the things i imagine we wil have to carry but man are those things expensive! I think the cheapest is $146 ish

Yeah I checked out the zuca backpacks it will definitely hold a lot of books. Waiting to see what they say is probably a good idea. I'm going to try to leave as many books as I can in my car and just switch them out.

Has anyone tried registering for the "school chapters"? The little card you buy at the bookstore? 3 yrs subscription...

Are you talking about the e-portfolio?

Congrats to all of you who got accepted. Word of advice, study hard and don't fall behind. Just because you have had straight As in the past it doesn't mean you will succeed. You must learn to think like a nurse. Once you learn how, then you need to take a crash course on how to take nclex style questions. Good luck and pace yourselves. The strong will survive.

Okay guys I am all registered :). I will get my books this Friday. I am in Cohort A. All of my shots are done just need the second TB test and drug test that will be done by tomorrow. I was hustling to get this stuff done. I am so excited ;)

Xxolis were you able to do it? I thought we had to have access to blackbored, which we do, but no info on our class is up yet.
