Published

Hello I wanted to start a thread for RCC Nursing Spring 2015!!!!! Anyone that will be applying to the program for spring 2015 lets get together to chat and support each other through this process!!!!! Good Luck everyone!!! Hope to see u guys in class next spring!!!:)

Yay one more person to go!!

I am cleared and registered!! Just a question for all of you though.. I have the book list here but I'm not sure which one is mandatory or which packages include which books?

Hope you get in Queen! :)

I purchased my ati but i haven't even tried to log on. Oh and fyi the 1st bundle of books doesnt include the gerontological book.

Does anyone know the difference between NRN-11A, 11B and 11C? I know they're labs but A is only .5 units, where as 11B is 1, and 11C is 2?

NRN-11A is required for those enrolled in NRN-11. For those who need to have 12 units, for financial aid, for example, NRN-11C (2 unit optional lab) is offered to supplement 11 and 11A. I can't comment on 11B~I didn't even realize it was offered for only a unit.

Queen have you heard anything??

Hi Mindy I am still waiting girl. I am just gonna have to wait and see. He says nothing has changed. I still have one person ahead of me. I should know something by Tuesday. I mean if everyone has met the deadline then I guess I won't get in. If not then I might have a shot. My registration date is next week. I am gonna register for nursing 18. I feel like everything is just up in the air girl. RCC is my fist choice but now I am feeling like I should apply other places as well Just in case.

Well everyone still has to show up the first day too. From what i can tell there's still 18 people who haven't registered. I know the alternates who have been given a spot will be given extra time to get their stuff done. I know it's frustrating waiting around especially when there's so much stuff to get done. I think if you don't get in this time you'll get in next time for sure if you take Spanish and get the extra five points. Then you'll be at 80 points, you should be good with that.

Does anyone happen to know what the set schedule is? I know on WebAdvisor it gives you set times for the lab and the lecture seminars and what not but I'm looking at the schedule given at intake for the first 2 weeks and it seems to me that we're staying presumably a lot later than the time written on WebAdvisor. Is it because it's just the first 2 weeks of school or is the schedule really unpredictable? It's just that I need to set my availability for work and I really do not know what to tell them in terms of my availability once school commences.

Yea I looked today and now its down to only 12 open spots. I can't see folks getting their backgrounds, medical, CPR, and registering not showing up to the first day of class without having some kind of emergency. I have peace about no matter what. I have to just trust God on this one Luv. It sucks because I did want to meet you. Joe is also cool. We text each other now. I did enjoy being on this thread with you all. :)

Convekz I was also wondering about that but I think we go by the course calender they gave us. Remember we also registered for NRN 11A that will require us to be there for extra hours in the learning lab. I'm assuming we will start out 8-3 for our clinical days for our first rotation like it states in our handout right? not 7-2 which is what our webadvisor schedule says? Also I don't see a Lab room for Tues/Weds schedule. I see our Thursday lab room which is 253A. Does anyone know what room we'll be in for our first rotation?
