Published

Hello I wanted to start a thread for RCC Nursing Spring 2015!!!!! Anyone that will be applying to the program for spring 2015 lets get together to chat and support each other through this process!!!!! Good Luck everyone!!! Hope to see u guys in class next spring!!!:)

Thank you for your response! So for your first semester you paid $2600 all together including tuition or you paid 498 plus the $2600?

For my first semester the tuition was 498 dollars. I spent for the first semester for books, tuition uniform, background, complio, ati, shirts, shoes, parking, skills bag, stethoscope, etc. 2600dollar ( I did not have to pay for the immunization stuff). For the next semesters I only have to pay tuition, and I think there is one more book we have to purchase.

The 498dollars for tuition is only for the 2 required courses that you have to enroll.

The 2600 includes the tuition.

Thank you mp86!

Thanks for the info mp86!

Quick question. Of the people that got accepted. .. do any of you live in hemet? I am already thinking about study groups and such.

mp86 is the class and clinical schedule typically five days a week? Or does it vary each semester?

Do any of you guys know which uniform brand rcc chooses for the RN program?

Brand and model number

The first semester you can choose between 4 or 5 days a week. I think the 2nd semester is also 4-5 days. I know that the 3rd semester is 3 days a week, but the 3rd semester is only 6 weeks long. Idk about the 4th and 5th semester.

You will have a chance to try the uniform on intake day. You also can order the uniform on intake day, or you also can order it online.

Thank you mp86!!

It's going to feel real after tomorrow. I can't wait! Super excited! Let the stress and high demands of nursing school begin lol. Don't forget we're taking our badge pictures tomorrow. :o

Hey Guys just incase you wondered what happened to me. I was busy with my finals. So I have not been on. I passed all of my classes. It was nice meeting you guys who came up to me during intake. It looks like it may not be Gods will for me to be apart of your cohort. I was told that I am pretty low on the list. I have peace with that decision now.

The key to all of the applicants that see this is not to give up and to keep trying. I will apply again for the spring with my extra points and hopefully I will get in. Also remember future nurses that people are putting their lives in your hands. This past weekend I had to report a RN who was giving my mom some IV push meds without cleaning the port first. My mom is receiving IV antibiotics for an infection. That meant all of those nasty hospital microbes that was on her port went straight into her bloodstream. Nosocomial infections is a term you all will become familiar with. It has been my pleasure chatting with you all. Blessings Xo
