Hello I wanted to start a thread for RCC Nursing Spring 2015!!!!! Anyone that will be applying to the program for spring 2015 lets get together to chat and support each other through this process!!!!! Good Luck everyone!!! Hope to see u guys in class next spring!!!:)

Actually last year they had two groups as well. When I accepted the invite I called and had a choice of what day and time I wanted to take the test. I chose the last day at noon so I got my results that same day (it was a Friday), but couple hours after testing. It actually didn't post until after six. I remember exactly where I was when I seen my results...lol.

You know what Mindy we did have two days to pick from. Maybe I picked the last day that's why I got my results that day!! Its been so long since I took that crazy exam.

They will be testing today at noon as well.

Mindy don't be nervous, I believe with your points you should get in. I also believe they will have some people get in with 75 points. A lot of applicants will be disqualified because they don't have all of their prereqs done. Some applicants will not have the money, background, and some will decline their admission. Have faith girlie. Yes they said I can check after 430 pm today. I wonder how did the others do who took their teas? They have been mia lol. I asked a couple of gals there if they were on this site they all said no.

RN2B951, girl that exam was cray cray LoL. When I was taking the test I thought why is this important to nursing. Questions like "What was the author inferring", or "What is the logical conclusion?". I'm shaking my head at the computer screen like really what does this have to do with nursing. I have never taken an exam where I could not tell how I did afterwards. I believe I did better then that practice exam. It had hardly no A&P questions. Maybe one Micro question asking about viruses.

When I took the exam there were a lot of micro question! Particularly about DNA!!! I remember when I would be at work studying and I had questions about AP or Micro I would ask some of the RN's questions if I needed help!! LOL the majority of the time they did not know the answer or they just could not remember!!! So I would ask myself " what is the point of learning all this extra information if we are not going to use it as nurses!" LOL I guess we just gotta jump through the hoops to get where we need to be!!! lol!!

Yeah the feed is quiet!! I would think more people would have talked about the TEAS. But maybe we will here from people when they get accepted into the program.

On a side note when I was there taking my exam I saw a real nice extra large rolling book bag. The students had to leave their bags in the hallway I guess. It was huge black squared with a the top squaring over the bag the wheels were huge. It looks almost like a crate with cloth over it. I want that bag. I have been on amazon looking for it and I can't find it. It had Ais or somthing like that in front of it. I have a rolling carry on black bag that I carried some of my books in but this was so much better. We are going to have somay books and supplies to have to take with us to school. If you know what I am talking about please let me know where I can get one.
