Riverside Community College RCC Spring Cohort 2014

Hi, I'm Ian and I've just applied to RCC's RN program for Spring of 2014. I thought I would start a thread about getting in, the TEAS at RCC, and last but not least encouragement for those trying to get in.

I'm at 50 pts. but I haven't taken the TEAS. I am waiting to be invited to take it at RCC.

@ BigNurse2014 I'm doing the CNA thing, because scoring low on the teas killed my points! Overall it's a good experience, getting patient contact and what not. But I figured I can have some sort of income during nursing school! After your first semester of nursing school, you can actually apply to take the state exam to become a cna, If you wanna do that in the mean time : )

As much as I would like to, I think I will just focus on the program if i get in. I got an email from RCC stating they have received my application already. They will send out invites for the TEAS exam on October and they will send out the acceptance letters to all applicants on mid December.

I found out, I couldn't send it on a Mac because it would leave the form blank. I got it resent from the library and got a confirmation email.

Hey! Good luck to Ian! :D I am also at 50pts, and taking the TEAS this month on the 30th at LLU. I'd figured it be a good idea to get it out of the way and not wait until November for the invites. Still, I am very nervous about the exam, but for the most part am hoping to score at least 80 and above lol :)

I was only considering RCC because it's closer to home, but if I don't get accepted I'm making an alternative plan to take BSN pre-reqs this spring, and complete a CNA program. (:

What really? I sent mine from my Mac, and got a confirmation email saying they received it?! Was it perhaps just an automated email!? SHOOT I'm worried now

you have to do it on a PC. They don't accept mac saved PDF documents. I had to go to the library and fill it out then send it in :bugeyes:

Really? Oh man, okay I just haven't received any other email stating they didn't receive it...I will call first thing on Monday to verify, if not I'll just re do it as well.
