Hello everyone. I just wanted to start the thread for all the new applicants of RCC's Nursing Program for Spring 2014. This thread is to help each other stay current with old and new information about the program. Share your thoughts about the application process, teas V preparation, acceptance, and support group. Let the applications begin!!
Thank you!Call the book company! They charged me twice on my tax(and the student discount did not go through for some reason so my total was $619!!!), so maybe that's what happened with you. I'm glad I got that cleared up and refunded. Also I have not gotten my books yet, but when I do I will let you knowHappy New Years!
Are you guys using normal backpacks or rolling ones?...I've seen a lot of nursing students with rolling backs? dde33
I use a regular backpack now but I used a Rollie for the first semester but just because you are still getting familiar with everything and you just bring everything with you and really there's no way your back will survive with a 3 inch folder + all your nursing books. Also you have to take into consideration, where are you doing your studying? You'll want to have all your study material with you at all times. But with time you will find your way. I wouldn't spend too much money on a Rollie (they're really expensive). One that worked well for a lot of my classmates where the jansport Rollie.
