Riverside Community College fall 2014

Just submitted my application for fall 2014 at RCC!! Waiting on receipt confirmation!

That was what I was told. He said even the people who are random draws will know by the end of the week. I probed and asked him about the cutoff and he said they don't know yet. Sorry, I don't have more info. I already accepted another school for Spring but RCC is a lot closer but I am grateful either way!!

Dont be sorry! Thank you for telling us the info that you did get :) congrats on getting into a spring program! :) I am nervous about the cutoff....im hoping that it is low lol. I have 70 pts so I am trying to be hopeful and positive and try not to be sad if I do not get in lol

I applied to six schools!! I am still waiting on 2. All the random draw schools I didn't have any luck. I didn't do the best on the TEAS. Luckily I did well on the Hesi. I am not about to take any classes to improve my score!! I just want to start a program. Don't worry everything will work out. God has a plan. I am confident that you got this. He said in the past they have went to 70!!

I hope this is my lucky draw then!! It would be nice. I am just going to do my cna if I have to and I already took a class to improve my score. I needed to bump my gpa up anyways

Hi guys, I am new here. I applied for fall 2014 too however my amy2b is still in progress.

Do I have any chances of getting in? I have 80 points in total, but that's counting the amy2b class I just did a final today, my final grade is A but it hasn't been posted on webadvisor yet. I really hope they will consider me for this application period!

Hi maihoney,

When I wanted to apply for the spring 14 program I still had Micro in progress. They told me that I would not receive any points for the science prerequisites (25 points) since I have not completed them. So there was virtually no change of getting in by the point system, the only chance of getting in would have been the random draw.

They last classes they accepted was from the winter session, which ended in february when I am not mistaken; after that, they would not accept any classes.

urg that's so messed up, I really don't understand why they even allow us to apply with incomplete classes though! So unfair!

You still got a chance getting in via the random draw, so don't lose your hope. :)

I don't get why they tell students different things!! It's confusing!!

When I applied for Spring semester they told me the same thing about my sci points, and when I got the denial letter it said in the notes that classes were in progress. If you got that email though about the acceptance/denial letters, then maybe they aren't sticking to the same rules this semester... Fingers crossed for you!!!

Honestly, I just hope all of us get in!! We should get extra points for just going through this whole nerve wrecking process! :nailbiting:
