Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?
Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.
The best advice I can give you is to do practice questions. Prepu, Lippincott, and Saunders are great for questions. You can buy a cheap patho book, because if you understand the patho of a disease, you can reason out questions. I paid 50 cents for mine. You need to know how to answer NCLEX style questions. I personally thought Nursing 11 was cake, because I could answer nursing questions. Good luck. I would recommend Alexander for clinicals. I loved her!
Thank you so much, your response is greatly appreciated. Good luck on your Nursing 12 course. This is great information that we can all benefit from your awesome!! ☺😊
@dvd the books come with cp on amazon? Do you remember the name of the store you got them from? Were they cheaper than with lippincot? & so you didnt buy the coursepoint for all books it was required for only for some?
Some were available as a package with both text and CP. I don't know if they were cheaper... I was confused with Lippincots website... I only have 3/5 CP and I will purchase whatever's required later on (if needed).
I agree! We still have a couple of months before class to let our accounts recover from the blunt force trauma. Great minds think alike! 😉
See you all there! Have you guys received your med-surg and maternal texts? They're huge!!! For sure getting a rolling backpack now:nailbiting:
Not yet, they should all be Uhauled here by a MACK truck by tomorrow. I believe you! I think I'm just gonna do the crate thing, it would look awkward of me (as a male) to have a rolling backpack.

Lol:D hey, better to look or feel awkward than to have an aching back! I started putting mine in a crate, it only has room for about one more book hahahaGuess I should've went for the gigantic tote!
