Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

Well, I just took the TEAS test today. Just a heads up the science portion has a good amount of physiology, some micro, and the rest chemistry. Everuthing else on the test wasn't a big suprise except for a few questions.

Wow!!! I know you're glad you got it over with. What about human body questions? Did you get your score right away? Where did you take it? I'm still waiting on notification from RCC. I hope they send them out on Monday so I can get some peace of mjnd...lol

Oops never mind on the human body....for some reason I was thinking physics...duh!!!lol.. Thanks for the tips!! Do you know what your total application points will be?

@emadsss thank you for the heads up!! Hope you did good on it & I'm happy for you that you got it done with! Would you say the ati study manual is a good source from what you experienced with your test?

Yeah, definitely. Reading and Math is going to be what is shown on the study guide. For the science portion, there try to focus on Anatomy and Chemistry the most. Then know the basics of Micro. English was where I got the weirdest questions. I had a question that asked me for the definition of disobediently, the choices were words i've never hearf of before.

I havent received my score yet. But going into the test I have 55pts

Thankful for all the helpful tips! Yeah that's definitely a weird question haha but going into before the teas with 55 points is great!!

That's a good amount of points!! I'm sure you'll be fine!! I think I have 50 so it's really important for me to get a good score on the TEAS. Good luck to us all!!! Thanks for sharing with us!! Every little bit helps :up:
