Anyone applying for RCC's Fall 2015 Nursing program?

Thought I'd start a thread to communicate about applying, TEAS, etc.

I just called RCC to find out when they would be sending out the teas invite and s.p. said within a week or 2! Last year they recieved it on the 9th so I was checking my email every 10 minutes so now I know I can lay off it a little hahah.

Hahaha me too!! Ahh still anxious! ::nailbiting::

Hey guys while studying this morning I came across this great resource of science questions: https://quizlet.com/64679353/killer-teas-v-practice-test-v-part-ii-flash-cards/

we we have like 25 days left ahhhhhhh.

Hey guys I've noticed, while studying in the ATI guide, there are a lot of errors. I just read that the company posted the corrections to each year's edition on their website. So with that being said, if something doesn't look right look it up! Wow I can't believe how close the test date is! I have nerves just thinking about it!! I know we will all be fine though!!! We just have to keep studying!! Thanks for the heads up Luna. I've been checking my mail too...lol

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to wish you all good luck on your applications! I'm preparing myself to apply for Spring 2016. Finishing up my prereqs at CSUSB and spending a little over a month to study for the TEAS exam. Any suggestions for studying for the TEAS exam? I'll have 50 points before I take the TEAS. Hopefully I get in the nursing program here!:yes:

Update...I called SON this morning. They are saying it's still going to be about 1 more week before they get the notices out for the TEAS test.....uuuggghhh!! Hurry up already!:nailbiting:

Welcome and good luck to you! As far as study advice I would say start studying early. The more you familiarize yourself with the material the better off you'll be. Purchase the ATI study guide and practice exams. I believe they sell both in a package. Study a little each day. You'll do great!

Yeah, after you just let us all know about that, I'm no longer going to wait for their invite. I'm just going to register for the TEAS V at a different location. I do have all A's in the science portions but I feel like trying to save $80 is really not worth the chance of not getting invited and it being too late to take the TEAS V on time.

I don't think anyone needs to worry because Loma Linda offers it every week for $75 if you are not invited with RCC

Aww I didn't realize that was available on a weekly basis. I only looked up available test days on the ati website. Oh well, no refunds lol. If I get invited before this Saturday I guess I can save 27$ by taking the test at RCC and not buying a transcript.

Yeah very true haha a friend of mine brought to my attention that RCC will have the test may 6-7 & need scores by May 8th so I guess time IS running out :/

I agree mrspz! I called and scheduled mines for the 27th. I'd rather take it and not have the stress of waiting!
