Riverside City College: Spring 2017

Published

Greetings all future RN students. I just wanted to start a thread for any potential applicants who will be applying to riverside city college RN program this September for Spring 2017. Let's all get together on this thread and share experiences as well as answer questions. I know the application period is 6 months away, but it will be here before you know it!

I sent mine in on Sept. 1 and i stull dont have confirmation that it was received.

I wouldnt wait for your transcripts. It takes 2 weeks for them to acknowledge your application.

So I emailed Jackie and she said rcc will be proctoring teas 6. Has anyone taken the teas 6, and how was it compared to teas 5? I'm currently at 50 points before teas. Good luck everyone.

I took the TEAS V, but I heard the VI is a lot more anatomy oriented. Unlike the V, it has less earth science and more life science material. I also heard that calculators were allowed for the math portion of the VI. Seems like a better test than the previous version because of that.

Yes 80 is really good. You should probably apply now. Jackie gave me the okay to submit my application even though one of my professors hasn't posted my final grade yet. I just left the space for the grade blank and will submit official transcripts as soon as he posts the grade.

Thank you so much! I'm so nervous to take the teas though! ):

Are you waiting for invite or have you scheduled to take it already?

I'm waiting for the invite. Hopefully I get invited. I have all A's in anatomy 2a, 2b, and micro.

Alright so I just submitted my application along with copies of my CNA certification and my transcript receipts to show they've been submitted, just not processed yet. If anyone else submitted a copy of their CNA, was it attached in the same email as the application itself? Or is it supposed to be differently?

Hhhm I'm not sure. I provided a copy of my Lvn license a long time ago, so I didn't provide any additional copies on my application. I think I'll ask the nursing department on Monday.

Any of you guys received a receipt for the application?
